I am Mahabubul Alam, working as an MRC Coordinator for MRC Bangladesh. I studied Masters in Social Science, major in Sociology (with honors), and Masters in Business Administration (MBA), major in HRM. I have over 15 years of professional experience and skills in coordination and project management, partnership management and capacity building, community outreach, analyze and innovation of policy advocacy. I worked around the issues of migration and development, combat human trafficking, reintegration, remittance and entrepreneurships development. I served four years for the UN-peacekeeping mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) to promote peace and stability; gained skills in civil-military engagement, community engagement and peace initiatives, and nomadic migration management. I have interest in listening to music, reading books and social engagement.
I am Labib Murshed, working as an MRC Counsellor, Bangladesh for ICMPD. I completed my graduation and post-graduation from the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Dhaka. Afterwards, I worked in different research institutions. Thus, with the help of my academic and professional backgrounds, I have intellect in both national and international affairs (both current and historical) in different aspects. I also gained experience in translating, transcribing, reporting and book/article review from these institutions. Further, I worked as an intern in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangladesh that highly sharpened my coordination, communication and management skills, and made me a sternly proactive person in any challenging situation. I have an inclination for the academia of international affairs. Apart from that, I love music, movies and athletics.
I am Rahanuma Sharmin, working as an MRC Counsellor in MRC-Bangladesh. I enrolled as a lawyer in Bangladesh Bar Council and Pupil in the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court. I am a development professional with experience in the field of labor migration, women and child rights, violence against women and children, land rights, under trial prisoners’ rights, human rights, and gender. I have skills in conceptualizing the project, monitoring, and reporting, support partnership development, and building the capacity of partners/stakeholders to provide legal aid support, skills in organizing national level consultations, seminars, and conferences. I have experienced working with the Bangladesh Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment. I worked for several national level NGOs in Bangladesh such as BRAC, Ain-o-Salish Kendra, Refugee, and Migratory Movements Research Unit (RMMRU) and practices court cases. I came from a Law background with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Northern University Bangladesh and a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Rajshahi. My areas of interest are labor migration, combatting human trafficking, promotion and protection of human rights, gender, psychosocial counseling, and alternative dispute resolution. I have developed excellent communication skills through my supervisory experience and campus leadership roles. My interest is to explore new places, listening to music, watching movies and documentaries.
My name is Tahsinur Rahman Talukder. I have worked for different international organizations, in diverse areas including education, campaign development, curriculum and module development, communication, research, database development and management, data transcription, literature review, translation, record room reconciliation, training, reporting and notes preparation. I have skills in coordination, monitoring, and supervision. I have a master’s degree in Education from the Institute of Education and Research (IER) of the University of Dhaka. I completed my B.A. (Honors) degree in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Dhaka. In my spare time, I like to read books. I am an avid reader of Bengali literature and Zahir Raihan is my favorite author.
I am Fahim Ferdoush. Currently, I am working for the ICMPD as an MRC Counsellor. I have completed my post-graduate studies on School Psychology and graduation in Psychology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have completed several online courses along with some training for my professional development. I worked for BRAC as a Psychologist, and as a Deputy Project Manager for the Child Protection program, I worked to support the Rohingya community promoting their protection and psycho-social well-being. I was engaged in psychological intervention and worked around the issues of Mental Health and Psycho-Social Support (MHPSS), Child Protection, Adolescence Development, and Case Management. I have skills in project management, training, research and reporting. I am competent in counseling, psycho-therapy, psycho-social support, psychological first aid (PFA), Child Protection, and Case Management using several theories and skills. I used to organize, provide and conduct training, documentation, develop modules and handbooks, organize and follow up meetings-seminars. I was engaged in reporting i.e. 5W, 4W, MIS, CPIMS+, SitRep, monthly and quarterly reports, and monitor and evaluate the field staff. I love to have chat with people and read a lot of books and watch movies. Music is one of my favorite ways to pass leisure times. I love cycling, traveling, and testing different types of foods.
I have Completed B.Sc. (Honors) in Botany from the National University of Bangladesh, and also completed Masters in Government & Politics from the Asian University of Bangladesh. Also, I have completed a Master's Degree in Environmental Science from the State University of Bangladesh. I have gathered much experience in Water Sanitation Hygiene education (WASH), homestead agroforestry, nutrition, child welfare, woman empowerment, capacity building and strengthening of Local Government Institutions (LGIs) at different tiers and areas in Bangladesh. I have more than 16 years of pragmatic experience in holistic program implementation. I am also experienced and have practical knowledge of the capacity building of individuals and organizations. I have worked as a trainer, coordinator, facilitator and a focal point for local partner NGOs in different projects. I have gained skills in planning, budgeting, organizing and monitoring of project activities; especially on the development project. I have worked in rural and urban areas (slum dweller of Dhaka city) and char areas also. I have worked with RDRS Bangladesh, Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), CARE Bangladesh, Plan International Bangladesh, Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (DWASA), Water Sanitation for The Urban Poor (WSUP) and Local Government Division (LGD) under Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD & C) at different projects. I have good communication skills in Bangla and English. I love to hear songs and am interested in making an outdoor tour with my family. I can communicate and network with others easily. I always try to work for the best interest of common people.
I am Md. Ikbal Hosssain. Currently, I am working for the ICMPD-Bangladesh as an MRC Counsellor. I have completed international professional diploma on SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights) from Lund University, Malmo, Sweden as well as post-graduation in Psychology and graduation in Psychology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, I attended several international conferences through scholarships. I have a total of 15 years of professional career, working with INGOs/NGOs including six years of experience as Counsellor cum psychologist in HIV/AIDS and STIs program with ICDDRB and eight years of experience in empowering women, adolescent on SRHR (Family planning, GBV, HIV/AIDS) program implementation with BAPSA and others NGOs in Bangladesh. I have previous experience as a migrant worker at Holiday Inn Sharjah, UAE. I have experience in counseling more than 500 migrant workers during the employment with ICDDRB. My interests are in public speaking, traveling and establishing good relations with people, and helping kids. My hobbies are reading articles, participating in webinar on different topics, and photo/video editing, and use of other software.
I am S. M. Rifat Shahriar. I have completed my masters from the Jahangirnagar University in English (ELT) and undergraduate from the North-South University in English Linguistics. I worked as Teacher Assistant (TA) in the English Department of the NSU. I also worked for Teespring.com as an official Translator, a US-based MNC, from January 2017 to December 2018. Later, I moved to US Bangla Airlines as an Executive Customer Service Officer from March 2019 to January 2020. Now, I am working for ICMPD as a Counsellor in MRC-Cumilla, Bangladesh. I am a public speaker and fluent both in English and Bangla. I have experience in online marketing, e-mail marketing, blog posting, and conversant with the Microsoft Office suite and Graphic designer in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator as well. I love traveling and watch movies. I do enjoy spending time with kids.
